Make-a-Wish Moves to the Cloud to Grant Wishes Faster

Children 's charity The Make-A-Wish Foundation depends on its website and its distributed IT systems to carry out its mission of granting wishes to seriously ill children. Recently, the Make-A-Wish Foundation needed to streamline its IT systems and improve the reliability of its website. The foundation's IT team used VMware's Cloud Provider Platform to create an enterprise-wide project to standardize the infrastructure for all its U.S. chapters and enable cloud services at its headquarters.
