Fraud Losses in 2019 Topped $1.9B, FTC Reports

Dit artikel van de AARP, een Amerikaanse belangenvereniging voor gepensioneerden, beschrijft de scherpe toename van identiteitsdiefstal en babbeltrucs aan het begin van 2020. Het aantal fraudemeldingen van consumenten steeg tot een recordtotaal van 3,2 miljoen, een stijging van 3% ten opzichte van 2018. Dit laat zien dat fraudebestrijding belangrijker is dan ooit.
