Modd.io is een Canadese startup die een innovatief open-source gamingplatform heeft gecreëerd dat volledig in Node.js op het Azure-platform is geschreven. Met behulp van een eigen visuele scripttaal stelt Modd.io personen zonder een uitgebreide achtergrond in het programmeren in staat om HTML5-multiplayerspellen te ontwikkelen en te publiceren.
